Sports Physicals That Actually Catch Something

Most sports physicals check a box. Ours checks your athlete's body for the gaps that lead to in-season injuries.

The Problem

The physical that cleared your athlete
missed everything that mattered.

Standard sports physicals check a blood pressure, listen to a heart, sign a form. They clear athletes to play without ever watching them move.

They don't test shoulder mobility in a thrower. They don't check hip range in a soccer player. They don't screen ankle stability in a volleyball player. They clear the paperwork — not the athlete.

That's why kids get cleared in August and tear something in October. The physical missed the problem because it was never designed to find it.

The Difference

A sports physical that goes beyond the form.

Your athlete gets everything MSHSAA requires. And the part most physicals skip entirely.

01

Full MSHSAA Clearance

Heart, lungs, blood pressure, vision — everything the standard form requires. Your school's form gets signed. Your athlete is cleared to compete.

02

Sport-Specific Movement Screen

We test the joints and movement patterns your athlete's sport actually demands. A pitcher's shoulder. A soccer player's hips. A basketball player's ankle stability. This is the part that matters.

03

Mobility, Strength & Stability Assessment

We find tight spots, weak spots, and strength imbalances that standard physicals don't look for. Not because they don't matter — because the standard physical isn't designed to find them.

04

A Real Conversation About What We Found

If we find something — a hip that doesn't rotate enough for a pitcher, an ankle that can't hold steady for a basketball player — you know about it before the season starts. Not after the injury. We explain what we found, why it matters for their sport, and exactly what to do about it. If it needs a full plan, we can build one through physical rehabilitation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Sports Physicals

Does this count as an official MSHSAA sports physical?

Yes. We complete and sign the standard MSHSAA physical form. Your athlete is cleared to compete. That part is handled. The movement screen is on top of it — not instead of it.

How long does it take?

Plan for about 30 minutes. You won't be in and out in 5 minutes like a mass-clearance event, and that's the point.

What ages do you see?

Youth athletes of all ages — elementary through high school. Parents stay in the room for the entire visit.

What if you find a problem during the screen?

We explain exactly what we found, why it matters for their sport, and what to do about it. If it's something we can address here, we build a plan. If it needs imaging or a specialist, we tell you that day — not six weeks and an injury later. Serious concerns may also warrant a full Assessment.

How much does it cost?

Cash-based, transparent pricing. Contact us for current rates. Most parents find that catching a problem before the season is far cheaper than an ER visit, an MRI, and a missed season — so the math usually works out.

Do you need a referral?

No. Book directly. No referral required in Missouri.
